The symphony of sensations

About 24 hours after I left you (and after a very long, restorative night's sleep!) I'm still up in the stars, full of fabulous memories of our meeting yesterday.

I'm still under your spell, so strong, remembering again and again the different moments of that afternoon. But it's not the sequences themselves, however marvellous and intense they may be in isolation, that are the most important, but their whole, like a marvellously constructed scenario, gradually adding the pieces of a jigsaw puzzle to one another to form today in my memory an indissociable whole contributing to the work and its splendour.

That's why I won't comment on any of these parts, even though some were obviously stronger than others. They all contribute to the symphony of sensations, to the marvellous state of letting go, of abandonment, of belonging, of expectation into which you were able to place me so well.

In a magical atmosphere created by your outfit, the setting, the music and the lights, you were able, through a multitude of aspects, studied details, attentions, gestures... to bring me into a magical state that I had rarely felt. Your multi-faceted blue gaze, sometimes hard, sometimes knowing, always attentive and benevolent; your expressive, ever-changing smile; your voice and the silence; the alternation of closeness and distance; the surprises, to name but the main elements, took me into a world that was unreal yet so very real.

Yes, you're an artist, and what an artist, in the sense that art, reflecting the will and sensibility of its creator, provides sensations, instant and lasting emotions, and that's what's so fabulous. Bravo! And thank you.
